I never used firefox, so I don't know what's the problem then. Basically, URLs use / rather than \ as the path separator. (This is due to their origins in UNIX-like systems.) URLs are not supposed to contain \ at all - unless it is encoded as %5C, in which case on most servers it will be treated as...

In these cases, the \ just needs to be replaced with a / in the link. Meanwhile, when you get the error, you can change it yourself in the address bar of your browser.

An initial version of the site is now available at: http://wonderland.hypertile.com/ At the moment all that is available is a partial level list (downloading doesn't work yet), but I will keep working on it. I thought people might be interested to see how it is coming along, so I decided to post thi...

Thanks for the help.

Am I correct in thinking that the bob in jcbobskiki is Bob Roest?

I have now found that the levels in the Katja folder were posted by TheoX, made by his sister. Is this a different person to Katja Doolewerdt?

Trying to find a few users

I have not been able to find the forum users corresponding to the following folders in the levels zip file from mette's site:

aymeric du peloux
james baartse
jcbobskiki
katja
littlekat

Could anyone help identify any of these?

Planned level site

I am currently working on a new Wonderland level website, which will allow downloading of complete archives and individual levels, with browsing by date released, level creator, category (kids or puzzle/action) and potentially other criteria. Initially this will just be for RTW levels, but I hope to...

I suspect the problem might have been that sonny had lots of miscellaneous things that could not be used in the void area (because of not using them earlier), and of course you can't go back from there.

Not only is the dialogue (and silly voices) for younger players I have always liked this element, and I expect most of the older players here have too. Probably the only group for whom this is not suitable are those who are quite young and are trying desperately to appear grown up. the graphics are...

I know it is conceptually easy, and easy to think of how some program could be created which does it, but it may be that given the existing code used by the game it would be tricky to fit it in. More likely, it would just be a hassle, and I think that key combination was probably originally (back in...

Floing will let you play it again if you have completed it; otherwise, you need to find the adventure starting point.

I think Red Crab Nesting Area is in the temple. Even if you can't get back there now, you should be able to eventually.

I suspect this may be because a component in the score comes from how long the solution takes, with shorter considered better - and this is applied even when the cheat is used, which typically gives very quick completion. It would probably be best if the cheat did not award you any points for the le...

Well, "Wonderland" is just a name, and I think it is just a question of definition and usage as to what it means in any particular case. As in, there is no absolute meaning of what Wonderland is, and the meaning in a particular instance is entirely a matter of what the character speaking uses that n...

Well, I do understand that it will just be frustrating if you are simply not able to control it fast enough, and perhaps there is something in the idea of providing an option to adjust the speed at which the game runs. The speed of your character would have to be adjusted in line with everything els...

Some may disagree, but I personally would say that at this point it is too early on for anyone to judge whether it is too difficult. I tend to use just one in-game save slot for progress in the hub, using others for save points within an adventure. However, I also make a copy of the save files at important points, which I then keep in compressed form.

I have found another way of doing spoilers that should work on any background (in a quote box or directly in a normal message, even if theme changes cause backgrounds to change later) and is (I think) neater and easier to remember: text Here it is used directly in a messag...
