Wooden Boxes in WSW

Post by mqdar » Wed Mar 28, 2007 9:15 am

Why is it that wooden boxes in WSW are smaller than the wooden boxes in the other Wonderland games?

I don't think they really are. I have no idea what causes it (if it's not an optical illusion or something). :?

I alt-xed right up, and it was quite small. But for some reason, every other box
is the right size.

The levels in WSW were made with the RTW editor, so all the boxes must be the same size as in RTW. Can you post a picture to show us? :?

Below are two screenshots. The first is from WSW. The second is from RTW.
Look at the size difference of the wooden box.

Hmmmm! You're right. Very strange.

Is it just the wooden boxes, or all of them?

I think that either mqdar has deceived himself, or made a clever prank on all of us...
Align the pictures and you will see.

I think there is a difference:
Although the wooden box is about the same size in each image, the Secret Worlds one seems to be zoomed closer in, and Stinky appears to be larger compared to the box. However, it is difficult to say, as the images are taken at different angles to the box.

You need to look at the floor to see the difference. More floor is visible around the box in the top picture.

Of course, in RTW it could be a model of a box that's over or in place of a Wonderland box, then it could be bigger.

Look at the background in the screen shots. It is the same in both the WSW and RTW pics. How is it possible to have the same scene in levels in WSW and RTW? To me, the foreground, including the box, has been altered. :?

Someone copied the WSW level into RTW. (I think it's mqdar)
And if you look in WSW then RTW, The boxes DO look different.
Happy 1100 post to me

If I don't zoom in, and just place stinky beside the box, the angle will be the same
in both.

Yes, it's only the wooden boxes. It looks really strange when after that pushing a
steel box that might be bigger than it.

That is supposed to be what it looked like.

They're from the exact same place, because I didn't press "Shift" or "Alt-x".

Darshan, the only answer is your computer settings. In my WSW, the boxes are perfect size. my settings are 1024X768.
