Stuck in game and don't know where to go

I have not played this game in a while. Now i am replaying it but I don't know where to go now. I have no keys in my backpack. I see several gates I can't open due to no keys. I have completed every adventure I can access so far but don't know where to go. I went to the mushroom farm but can't do that adventure as I have no keys. Can someone help me? I have helped some stinkers but most of them when I click on them say nothing of importance.

You should go east of the mushroom farm and enter the lazy leaf forest. You'll see a yellow wizard. Talk to him and then go to the cave adventure. After finishing it, you'll go to the forest where there are many caves and woods. You will get mushroom keys there. If you have more problems, try searching youtube for walkthroughs.

Thank you! I had talked to the guy in the yellow hat but never went past him to see what was there.

I had the exact same problem when I first played the game.
