Wonderland/Midnight Synergy on Facebook?
Hey Patrick - sorry if this has been dealt with before but I couldn't find anything via search on the subject -
Do you have a Facebook page for Wonderland at all? If not would it be worth considering as a good advertising/promotion avenue? I'd imagine most of us would have an account & it would be a good sharing opportunity...

You'd probably have to register yourself first before creating a page for Wonderland but you can set all your privacy settings (I think we all know you like to keep personal stuff out of the limelight) so people can't see any details at all (or just make them restricted to say family... which would include all us right? ) and if you're like me you don't even have to put up a real photo of yourself for a profile pic.
Definitely worth a look in once you're all done getting the game out.

It is possible to register a business account so all you do is manage that page.Robbie wrote:You'd probably have to register yourself first before creating a page for Wonderland but you can set all your privacy settings (I think we all know you like to keep personal stuff out of the limelight) so people can't see any details at all (or just make them restricted to say family... which would include all us right? ) and if you're like me you don't even have to put up a real photo of yourself for a profile pic.

I have reserved a page now so Patrick can jump in at any time.
Is it possible then to put up the available demos as game apps or do they need to be flash based? I don't know if the games are even considered flash based in any way... that could be a problem. At the very least he puts up plenty of pictures & videos & links and we all share like crazy.

You can put up links to Wonderland Demos on the main 4 squares of the Facebook page. They don't need to be Flash-based.Robbie wrote:Is it possible then to put up the available demos as game apps or do they need to be flash based? I think Robbie's asking if the Wonderland games could become "facebook games" such as FarmVille... uh, Bejewled... Facebook? And uh, those other games on Facebook.
Which I'm pretty sure they're far too advanced for, but I wouldn't know.

i should change my signature to be rude to people who hate pictures of valves
I'm glad I'm not alone. No Facebook or Twitter for me, and I'm still using my Motorola Krzr mobile phone eight years on. [grumpy old woman] I hate touch screens and you will not force me into having one! Long live the craziness!and wrote:But it is a good idea - once the initial craziness with WA3 release is done, I'll look into it!

He does, under the name Patrick (I think).VirtLands wrote:Midnight Synergy wrote:It's not something I've done - mainly because I don't use Facebook, Twitter, ....
I think that Midnight Synergy should get a Blitz Forum account.

That way he's likely to show us code. *
I've seen him post at least once, but I can't dig up the post right now.
