This is more of "Amadeus Mimickus" than a serious thing -- I can't agree that Mark and Amadeus have the same style (even though they are one same man)
This is more of a "hidden mechanism" level -- I still remember some of the evilest amadeus mechanisms!

Hidden Mechanism rules this place.
Can Loof escape?

Yes, it is clever and Loof can escape, but I don't think that there is value in trying to guess the hidden mechanism when you cannot see any step-by-step side-effects.

I've looked in the Editor, and I know what's supposed to happen, but I can't do it.

Nice idea - I think it would be good to make one where you could actually see the thing happening (if one could make it happen).

You can tell if you've messed up if you hear nyack-nyack from the start.
If you step up quickly enough you shouldn't hear a single nyack before it's time.
