Hope I'm not wakeing!
Make a moveing block path for both ways,AND DON'T CLOSE IT!
Then make a left block object and a right one.Lets say it moves at a speed of 3.Have at the End of path action change to the other directoion.
In the step event check if at relate 0,1 if there is the left one, then if so ,warp relatave 0,3, i think.Do the same thing with the other, but -3,0.
Good luck!

*HUGE BUMP*
Okay, well, I have decided to make some more games with Game Maker, but a little more different. The current game I am working on, since I have the Pro edition of Game Maker 7 now, is a 3D game. There is no title yet...
This game, in the end, will have to be paid for to play. Do not ask of the price right now, as I have only began working on it today, and I really don't know. However, it shouldn't be more than $10.00, as a rough estimate. The testers and designers will not have to pay for the game, as they will receive it for free.
Right now, I am not taking any tester or designer offers. I will pick them myself. The current testers are Dlcs18 and Qloof234. No designers besides myself right now.
I have created a blog that will be updated often about the production of this game. You may read my blog here. Please post comments about blog posts on here, as blog comments can be messy. Right now I have a post up that explains some things about the game.
If you have any questions or comments, please post them here, or you can PM me.

I know how to do it. If I did it with Box Walk, you can. But heres the problem, I did it with coding, lol.jdl wrote:There is a moving block in the game. I get on top of it and stay on top, but I don't move with it. AND I can't jump off of it!!! Plus, when I hit the left or right side of it, it stops moving and I get cought inside of it! I can only get out of it if I press the direction of which it's going at.
Also, if you hit the sides of it the moving platform bounces back. That helped me with another VERY HARD LEVEL on Boxwalk, where you have to go through spikes BUT.
some spikes fly at you, so hard to do the 2nd one that flys at you. :P

The Adventures of Blocky.. Is pretty much an abandoned project. I stopped making it after trying to get the boss to work, which, I either did or didn't, I can't remember.
However, if I can get my uploading files issue solved, I will post the early beta of it.
I made bosses on Game Maker. And it works PERFECTLY!
EDIT: Here is my boss code that WORKS.

Why do we have to pay? That really stinks.jdl wrote: The game, in the end, will have to be paid for to play. The reason for this, is because:Joy wrote:Why do we have to pay? That really stinks.jdl wrote: The game, in the end, will have to be paid for to play. 1. I'll make a profit off of this.
2. It's 3D so it's gonna take a lot of work; therefor, it's going to be pretty fun.
Hmmm...
Well, if you want people to pay for it, I'd say you'll need some kind of demo or something to show people that it's a fun game that would be worth buying.
For example, with WA and WA:MOFI Patrick put a demo where you could only get a little in the game and then you would have to pay for the full game if you want to get further.
So, I think a demo version of the game when your done would be good!

Plus you can't sell stuff in the store unless it's a company product or a company's bought it.
Also, Jacob, I can see why you'd want to get income off of this, but I've still got two issues with it. First off, a practical solution to someone acquiring the game if they don't have a credit card still does not exist. As you said on Skype, mailing you the money is an idea, but it's not practical - if it gets lost in the mail, then someone just lost $10 and didn't get the game, either.
Second off, there are people out there - myself included - who are working on huge mods for games like Half-Life 2 that introduce entirely new elements, update the Source engine (unofficially), and many more things exceeding that. Almost all of these mods are shareware and they take a lot more effort than making a game from scratch (have to familiarize yourself with the engine, add in new models, etc.). For example, the mod Black Mesa - a complete redesign of the original in the Source engine. The original Half-Life is over 20 hours long. This mod is completely freeware.
I'm not saying that you should make it freeware right now, I'm just saying that there are lots of other 3D projects that are taking up much longer that are absolutely free, which might make people lose interest.

*Bump*
Alrighty, my router has decided to work with me again and I can upload files for who knows how long... Being so, I have uploaded an extremely early beta version of my 3D game (still no title) for you guys to play around and provide feedback with.
Bugs:
1. Sticky Walls.
2. No Other Bugs.
Click to shoot bullets (may remove this feature). Get the red key to remove the red gate. Collide with the door to go to the next area/level. The second level/area is exactly the same, only the key is in a corner.
THE LINK:
http://www.badongo.com/file/21825586
Look to the right and fill out the visual thing and the download should start.
BIG EDIT MUST READ: Look at my blog, I have posted something important.. Link to my blog is in my sig.
