I played demo 4, but I only got to level 3 so I haven't seen much of it.
The reason why I only got to level 3 is because of the really hard difficulty, and the main reason for this difficulty is because of the collision engine. It really needs to be improved, because it's making the levels a lot more hard than they need to be, especially the ones where you have to ride the block and not get any of the red keys.

I'm going to have to agree with Dlcs here - I can't even get past the first new level, because whenever I press jump on a conveyer (don't know what they're called, blah) I almost never jump properly. Most of the time I don't jump at all, and sometimes I just lift two pixels off the ground and the controls lock up.
I've still yet to get past a lot of levels. I'm going to be honest, the collision between the player and the walls makes some levels impossible on some tries.
Specifically, if there's a block on one side of a key and a wall on the other, then chances are you won't be able to get the key without restarting and getting lucky.

I'm aware of the somewhat glitchy controls/collision engine. If you need to drop in somewhere, I always make sure the walls are spaced two tiles apart (I used to do that 'one tile wide' thing in like Demo 3. Since then I've stopped). For the 'two pixels off the ground' thing, you can't jump off the sides of stuff (I believe you were hugging the side of the Cirveyor and were sliding down). Just keep practicing and you'll get used to it. If this continues to be an issue, I'll modify the collision in Demo 5.
For people stuck at the Blue Tumbler HQ tubes: Open a Wurp that's above the tube you want to go through. Create a Plock and you should be able to go down the tube below the Wurp you appeared from.
I'll post a boss guide if anyone needs it later.

I know what you're referring to here, but when I say "two pixels off the ground" I mean when I'm on a row of Cirveyors. The only problem I have with this is that my controls get locked and I have to hit Control and start over.MyNameIsKooky wrote:For the 'two pixels off the ground' thing, you can't jump off the sides of stuff (I believe you were hugging the side of the Cirveyor and were sliding down).
There are only two things bothering me about Boxinator right now - The physics, and the control scheme.
The physics feel somewhat floaty, but I'm fine with that - however, at least once during normal gameplay, playing the level the way I usually do, a Plock got stuck in the ceiling.
As for the controls - It's not a huge issue, but on my laptop keyboard, Ctrl is right beside the arrow keys. I don't think this needs fixing, but I've accidentally restarted a few times.
Apart from those two things, it's pretty awesome.
