I Need A Rubic's Cube Solver

Post by jdl » Thu Jul 09, 2009 11:59 pm

I was wondering if anyone can make a Rubic's Cube solver. Not just because I am having trouble solving mine, ( ) but I thought it would be a handy tool for anyone who gives up on solving the cube.

General idea:

1. The program has the ability for you to "paint" the colors on the cube.
2. Can hit next, previous, or show all to see the next, previous, or all of the moves.
3. Shows the image of the cube and it rotating as it shows you the moves.
4. A counter that shows you how many moves you have left until you solve it.

Many thanks,

jdl

JDL's Cube puzzler

Post by mindstream » Fri Jul 10, 2009 3:15 am

Hi JDL,
I would like to see a RTW level solver program too, but it looks
like that is not going to happen.

I have a Rubik's Cube somewhere; it is getting old & dusty because
I gave up trying to solve it.

I searched on the web and found this neat program that actually
does solve Rubik's Cubes, with options like,
a 2x2x2 solver, a 3x3x3x solver, and a 4x4x4 solver.

If anyone out there can make a 3x3x3x3 hypercube game let me know.

Try these links for Rubik's Cube solvers: :)

This one is the 4-Dimensional version of the Rubik's Cube,

Rubik's cube's are so complex, at this point all I can do is just look at them.

I tried the second link above, but the program frequently freezes. :(

Pentamix: this is the world's hardest Rubik's Cube,...

Rest in peace, Kym. I hardly knew ya.
Rest in peace, Marinus. A bright star, you were ahead of me on my own tracks of thought. I miss you.
