Now that you yourself said you didn't want to do that... no hard feelings, OK? No harm done... I think... I hope! Let's continue a more peaceful discussion about it now.

And to everyone: just please be more careful when you choose your words. I know no one wants a flamewar and no one specifically wanted to provoke it... but that's exactly how some of those posts read from the other side.

I know you didn't want to provoke it. I trust you. But someone else might not know that. Someone else might take the opportunity and start flaming based on a misunderstanding or a miscommunication.

Regardless of whether you wanted it or not (and you didn't, I trust you) the result was a very "flamey" atmosphere, which I tried to partially turn into an argument and partially/temporarily direct it against my counterarguments before it erupts. Looks like I've succeeded.

OK. It's over now. At least I think it's over.
