Good explanation of a standard keyboard, Gen.
I'll add directions for laptops:
If you're on a laptop, you can not use the number keys above the letters. You have to find them on the letters. there is usually a function button (Fn) that you use in conjuction with a num lock key to turn on the "key pad" On my latop, once I've turned on the Fn+Numlock, I use the J, K, L, U, O, 7, 8, 9 for 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 9 (while holing down the Alt and X)
If you can't find the numlock key on a laptop, it usually looks like a tiny tiny calculator and may not say num lock at all.
Side note: The Alt-X doesn't work the same for 3-D as for regular levels. While it will zoom you out and over, the whole screen flips around as yu turn left and right. It may make you a little dizzy, still. And you can't see the character as normal. Instead, he's a bluue circle on the tile, so you have to really watch were he is and may occationally lose track of him.
