Safe Wonderland Buying Idea (don't know if it is)

Post by Technos72 » Thu Apr 08, 2010 12:22 am

I thought about this a few years ago. I think shopping online with a credit card is dangerous. That's what my dad says. So that means "DUE TO MANDITORY SCHEDULED MAITENENCE", I will never buy MS's wonderland games because it's dangerous.

Why? Every time you use a credit card you will recieve a bill to pay the same price than the product again but at 30%. If you don't pay soon, that 30% adds to your bill permenately. And if I buy online, I get really worried.

 Unless of something I made up...

My idea instead of using a credit card online is to get the address of where MS and its products were produced, select the product I want, then use my money not from the credit card and mail to MS with a message. And then wait for my game, but may wait for a very long time. (I will never try to commence fraud)

I don't really know if this is a good way to shop online. But I hope it's okay. Anyone can add to this and tell me more. If this way is not ok, then I will have to live dangerously to buy wonderland games :(

I trust Midnight Synergy. After years playing their games, I have gotten no spam mail from them, and their game data does not "scan" your computer.

Use Paypal?

I don't have paypal. Don't have a creadit card and will NOT get one because it's too dangerous. Did you read the second paragraph?

Yes, and about Paypal. It uses your credit card information, but does not link to it directly. Sort of a covered Internet transaction.

I'm going to email Midnight Synergy or wait for Midnight Synergy to reply here to see what happened when my dad bought RTW for me. The bill may not had the 30%.

Please don't send me money in the mail!

But, we do offer payment (through BMT Micro) via other methods, including cheque/money order. It's right in the order page of our games, e.g.
http://www.midnightsynergy.com/adventures/order.htm

As far as paying online is concerned, it is safe in our case (obviously), but I can understand some people's reluctance to do so. Hence the other options.
