Chip, I'm still working on this one.

I can get the engine firing on all cylinders but I don't see how to keep the pink gate open.

I cobbled a different way together, but then the white gates don't stay open for the timer buttons because all my ball-bearings get smashed.

Back much much later.

I think I did something wrong with the spheres, I only had the white gate open long enough to catch the coins near the exit, it was all I needed to exit but I would like to know you're intended route for the spheres. :?

In spite of extracts from the Servive Instruction Manual :lol: I still can't keep the conveyor timers going because the white gates always destroy my ball bearings.

I've tried hot wiring the system and I've tried using the full engine, but no system allows the port side to run smoothly and I don't have time to get back for the last 2 coins.

Calling on Chief Engineer Chip to enlighten me!

Here are the hints:
I) Setup of the ESC
1) Get the coins inside the device and steer the right raft D.
2) Go to the setup room:
- Ice block R, left sphere D.
- Ice block R and U, left sphere L.
- Wait, until it stops at the pink gate.
- Right sphere D.
- Wait, until the other one stops at the cyan gate.
- Right sphere L.
3) Steer the right raft D again. ---> Ready!
II) Setup of the KERS
1) Insert the cooled battery (ice block) into the accumulator.
2) Remove the coins from lane 1 and lane 3 of the device.
3) Push two transponders (prisms) into lane 1 and lane 3. (Onto the pink timer and the left/right-sign.)
4) Push the expanders (steel boxes) into the same water tile to start the KERS. ---> Pink gate open!
III) Setup of the torbo booster:
1) Push the wooden box D and R into the blue TP.
2) Enter the green TP from all sides to push the cannons in position.
3) Activate one valve after the other. As long as you try to follow Znoo-Znee's advice (opposite valves simultaneous), the device is very forgiving. ---> Cyan gate open!
Now you can start the ESC, get the bonus coins and finish the level. Have fun!

I didn't have the green spheres set up properly at all and that was the whole problem.

This is a very ingenious and devious puzzle. Excellent! :piratesmile:

Same here with the green spheres, obviously I just got lucky the first time that the boulders didn't get caught in a closing gate right away. :D
