The Wonderland Multiplayer Suggestion thread!

Wonderland has always missed one thing, and that one thing is cookies. Just joking, it's really Multiplayer. In this topic we can share and discuss things about a multiplayer Wonderland.

First question: How will FireFlowers shoot it told to home when more than one player is there?

My idea: It homes in on the closest one, making a useful tool for puzzle, as one player can distract the flower while others solve a puzzle.

Your ideas?

I think I am the original author of this idea (at least I think I am :P)

Multiplayer mode is not at all undoable, but there are 2 modes for multiplayer:
-MMO - Would suit the Wonderland plot more
-Puzzle - Keeping the original idea of Wonderland, but we will need a special method to tackle lag (it doesn't matter much in singleplayer, but it matters VERY much in multiplayer)

As for commands, we need to invent a new protocol.

No, I am talking about the technical implementation behind. We could easily make a GUI for hat changing, but how this information is sent to the server is another thing.

Hey I got some ideas.
1,You are in a lobby with adventure stars.
2,When you die you go back there,
3,Make your own magic or gloves by digging rocks to getting crystals
4,Use either the classic game or the presant game.

The hub will have to be using the WA engine, but the puzzles can run on either RTW or WA engine.

First mode is doable, but the half-screen idea might bring too much lag for low-spec machines and/or those with slow internet.

MS might disapprove the second mode, as stated by him here:
d) the spirit of the game doesn't deviate too far from the official Wonderland games (e.g. a violent shoot-em-up where Stinky and Loof battle hordes of Zombies would not be ok)
But if it's a MMORPG, this mode is almost necessary.

I say online. You would design your Stinker, name it, and choose where you wanted to live. If you died you would return to your house,

I think that in the wonderland server should be something like the spawn area(Minecraft) and when players die,he will back to this point.
What happens with items from inventory when the player die?

It depends on how often players die.

If players can't die in one hit, you should lose 50% of your coins when you die.

Random idea:You lose all your coins at death but there's a bank in the first town or something that you can keep coins in so you don't lose them.

what will happen if two persons surround a scritter and other 6 sides wall is there?
If one person moves, the scritter can't go close to either of them

not all adventures must be played with people. it can be solo too... for certain levels.
-if four players are going to play a level, the chomper might have 4 colors.
let us say. (player1: red chomper) (player2: gold chomper) (player3: green chomper) (player4: cyan chomper).

I don't want to move the game in my way, but I usually play online games like this.

Why? You can easily avoid losing too many coins by spending them as you get them.

Most MMORPGs set that when you die, you lose about 5% of your EXP.

Me, I suppose. MS is busy, and I think I am the only one here (except Blast!10) who really has programming experience outside GML (I know PHP, Python and is trying to learn Java). I doubt I would really get anywhere, though. Laziness and stuff. (Did Guppy Star said he could code in C++?)

About the ranking idea: It would be easy to implement but I think it's not really necessary.
