Re: PLEASE READ: Exploit: Remote Code Execution through WA
Couldn't this also be used in a positive way, to bundle all sorts of custom content without having to get the player to be able to download a single wa3 file instead of multiple separate zip files?

Re: Private Message Question
I am unsure of the exact timing, but I believe the system works in a way that only read messages are sent to your sent box. So if something is still is in your outbox, it means the recipient hasn't opened their PMs yet. Yes, this is correct. The outbox means the message hasn't been read yet. While ...

Re: WA - Scrambled Save Data?
I did some quick testing and judging by what you said I am fairly confident that it's a case of missing wlvs in your save file. The game uses a fairly inefficient saving mechanism that involves copying the entire hub and current/previous adventure from the save file into the "Current" folder, and vi...

Re: The Wondertown Coup Collab
I'd just like to know a little about the intended plot structure of the hub. Since I presume it's supposed to be in linear order, does that mean that the adventure shouldn't showcase a setup of the events that led to the coup attempt and start exclusively from the actual coup? Or would flashbacks be...

Re: Call for testers!
Android 11 wasn't my idea - Google is requiring it for all new apps in the Play Store as of August 31. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the target SDK level isn't the Android version requirement. I don't have much experience with Android development, but from what I've gathered, the minimum ver...

Re: Hardest Level in WA Trilogy
MOFI has the overall hardest levels without a doubt. The first two levels that caused me problems were Lots of Locks and The Corridor. Don't Leave Me Behind is also a very advanced level, and might just be the hardest one. Limited Access is another hard one, the Scritter puzzle in particular can be ...

Wow! I am absolutely amazed by this adventure. I thought that the collab died long ago, and I'm very glad to see it returned. And I've never imagined it would be an adventure this massive; this truly makes it into the category of the few god-tier adventures on this forum, and it's great. I admit tha...

Re: Are there going to be new Wonderland games?
We don't know what's going on in Patrick's life. It is very clear that he currently has no interest in (or capacity to) developing new games. This likely had been going on since the development of POTZ, which is why it went through such a long development cycle, not to mention the extremely long del...

Re: Possible Fan Translation Project
I would definitely be able to translate the WA game(s) into French, but I'd only do it if there was an active effort in such a translation project. It probably wouldn't be hard to do in the WA trilogy, add a couple accented characters in the character sheet, and most of the text is already in easy-t...

Re: 3 coins short in PotZ!
They aren't in Wondertown, and they aren't in areas where you can't return. There's a good chunk of coins hidden behind walls and tall objects all around the map, which, yes, will take a bit of a grind to find. You can also check the guide here: http://www.pcpuzzle.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=2525...

Re: The end of Adobe Flash Player, and how to continue using it
I recommend using Adobe Flash Projector. I don't recall hearing about any kill switch (especially for the standalone), but that one has been working for me for a while now. It's also cross-platform (works on Linux). Link here: https://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/debug_downloads.html Thanks for...

Re: In your opinion, what is your least favorite level of the Wonderland Adventures triology
I was okay with Mystery Island, actually. As far as I remember, it's doable so long as you create a map while playing and use the gates to mark each island in a distinct way. Yes, that is what I did. The problem is that there are trap exits all over the level which would get you stuck in a loop wit...

Re: In your opinion, what is your least favorite level of the Wonderland Adventures triology
Yeah, Mystery Island is definitely the worst of the whole trilogy. Unlike the other three levels, there's no legitimate challenge whatsoever, it's the closest thing Wonderland has come to trial and error. I did solve it, but it probably took almost two hours (that was on my third 100% playthrough of...

You can still buy the game off Shockwave I believe, otherwise you'll have to deal with the 60 minutes time limit.
There is a way to reset the timer, but it's pretty complicated and I don't think I can post it here.

Re: Are there any good images of Return to Wonderland's logo?
That's about as best as you'll get, unfortunately; the logo in-game is a monochrome bitmap picture split into "res51.dat" and "res52.dat". They aren't even spliced properly, you have to cut off a couple pixels for it to look correct. Anyway, if you want, I've uploaded a png of the raw logo. It's not...

Re: What happened to the Thwarts?
Revenge? What for? It's heavily implied in the ending of WA1 that the Thwarts learned from their mistakes and likely integrated with the stinkers. I don't think the Thwarts even lived in the Void anymore. And I don't recall the Void being destroyed, although I may be misremembering the story a bit. ...

By not having the lamp/glow gem active. I don't remember if the specific message shows up all the time (as opposed to the generic "you need a lamp") or if it's random though.

Re: Scary and most startling Wonderland moments
The only thing I can particularly think of is the message "you are likely to be eaten by a grue" in MOFI when it's dark kinda, which freaked me out at first since I didn't get the reference and it happened in the Void room which has this dark, somewhat unpleasant atmosphere to it.

Re: Fire island is not really an island!
That's because the greyscale plains tiles are actually located on the arcade texture set. You can verify this by going to the game folder, and going to Data/Graphics (or /LevelTextures in MOFI and POTZ) and opening mfwfmufy bctusbdu.wdf (leveltex abstract) using an image viewer.

Re: MOD RULES + OTHER INFO
Expanding on this, I think we should adopt a free software license, like GNU GPL 3.0. GPL 3 is a bad idea since it makes the software more free than what is intended, including allowing it to be shared outside the forum, which is currently not allowed. Plus there are a bunch of really complicated n...

I'm cautiously optimistic about it. Probably going to buy it but probably not on day one. Re: Lag in WA3 and WA3E on Windows 10 version 1809
I think I should now say what could be the main reason, behind all those slowdowns with BitDefender, 1809 and Wine in Linux: The reality is that POTZ and WA3E are different from the other Wonderland games. Yes, they are. Actually in Blitz3D, there are two types of builds of apps that can be made, o...

I'd like to add my two cents to this matter. For those who don't know I've had a dual boot Windows/Linux setup for a few months now, and only recently did my Windows install get the 1809 update (probably because I almost never use it anymore). Access the game's install directory (typically in Program Files or Program Files (x86) on a 64-bit OS), and find a text file named 'localsaveon' or 'localsaveoff'. In the file isn't there then pretend it's the latter. If it's 'localsaveon', then enter the address %localappdata% in your Windows Explo...
