I think it depends on the computer you have. I've never had serious lag in WA before on Windows 7/XP but it seems to lag a bit on Windows 8.
Maybe it's just my PC, but I had some serious lag issues before switching to Windows 7 (It had Windows 8 installed by default ^_^, it's a relatively new pc ...

Um...well you see, some of the adventures used custom modifies to the game client, such adventures as the one with the tools won't work in the editor at all ^_^. I can explain how it works but it's a bit tricky, basically giving up a feature for a custom now one.
