Switched Servers
I just switched Midnight Synergy and the forums to a new server. More details to follow, but if you experience anything unusual happening while on the board, you may have to clear your browsing data and restart. If any problems persist, post here.

Re: Switched Servers
MS can you switch to https? it would be more secure, so it wouldn't be as easy for attackers stealing private info like passwords, logins, etc.

Re: Switched Servers
Your hosting provider has already provided the certificate and setup for you. All you need to do is change the site url from http to https.Midnight Synergy wrote: ↑Thu May 24, 2018 8:06 pmDon't know about https and ssl certificates... probably not for now.
Re: Switched Servers
I'd like to slightly bump this back up to bring up a very annoying issue.
When I was uploading an adventure to the forums via the attachment system, I had 2 zip files and 2 image files attached. However, when I saved the post, all the attachments were invisible for everyone, forcing me to add or remove a file for them to be visible. Among a few other minor attachment issues, Attachments seem to have broken for me again.

I too had this issue when I was uploading my two programs (Hub packer and unpacker). Whenever I had to upload them, I had to delete those attachments from user control panel.FinnThor wrote: ↑Tue Jun 05, 2018 11:04 amI'd like to slightly bump this back up to bring up a very annoying issue.

Hope this will be fixed.

Re: Switched Servers
Is this a specific issues that can be repeated (for me to test), or is this a "once in a while" kind of thing. If it's repeatable, let me know what the exact requirements are for me to try to replicate your issue.
Re: Switched Servers
Okay, here's how to replicate the issue:
1) Click "Post Reply"
2) Attach two test files.
3) Now, if you clicked on "Preview", you will see that only one attachment is there in "Attachments" tab. If you clicked "Submit", there will be two attachments in your submitted post, however if you click "Edit", on this post, then also you will see only one attachment in "Attachments" tab.
And yes clicking Submit/Preview will display only one attachment in your post.
I think, as FinnThor said, this issue is too there if you attached more than two attachments.
