Crumpet.
An improved level editor for Return To Wonderland.
Please read the whole of this forum post.
Let's face it: the built-in level editor for Return To Wonderland kind of sucks. There are many annoying problems with it, for example, only having one undo step, having to click many times to get to the category you want, the general horror that is editing signs, and only being able to move very slowly around large levels.
Crumpet solves all of these problems and provides a much better editing experience, and you can use it RIGHT NOW. It runs inside your web browser, so all you need to do it check it out is click this link: https://cadence.moe/crumpet. Spend a moment fiddling around with it, and then come back to this post.
I could explain all of Crumpet's features in this forum post, but that would make the post very long. What I will do instead is link you to the user manual: https://cadence.moe/crumpet/manual. This manual will answer many questions that you might have. You don't have to read the entire manual, but what you should read is this part, which I will type out here for your convenience:
Jump to the installation guide: https://cadence.moe/crumpet/manual#installing-crumpetAlthough Crumpet runs within your web browser, web browsers won't let Crumpet edit your save files directly. This means you have to install Crumpet in order to be able to save files directly to the CustomLevels folder on your computer. Once you've done that, all you have to do is press Ctrl-S in Crumpet and you'll instantly be able to load the level inside RTW. Crumpet will also be able to work offline once it is installed.
Jump to the super short cheat sheet of features and usage: https://cadence.moe/crumpet/manual#cheat-sheet
If there's enough demand, I'll make a video showing you step by step how to install and how to use Crumpet. Let me know if you want this.
Crumpet is open source on GitHub. You can browse the source code here: https://github.com/cloudrac3r/cadencegq ... l/rtw-edit
