Help needed with memory access violation

Post by benemily »

How do I back up my saved files as I have an MAV on one of my slots causing problems, I think I need to reinstall the game as it is now taking 15 minutes to load but I don't want to lose my current progress as I have over 100 stars.
Any advice greatly appreciated.

I'm sorry, but I honestly have no clue as to how to actually do this...
I do hope you can figure some thing out, though.

Also, if you want to see my level list, here it is! :D

Oh, and my YT wonderland channel. Forgot about that.

As long as you know where the save files are you can copy and paste them into another folder and put them back when you've reinstalled the game. If you changed the save destination to 'localsaveon.txt' then they will be in the player profiles folder in the WA3 directory. If you left it as 'localsaveoff.txt' then it will probably be in your documents and settings folder on your local drive. Depending on what OS you have it might be a bit difficult to find.

On the other hand, if you know which one is giving you the MAV you could delete just that one because the save files are numbered 1 to 9 corresponding to which position they are. So if say save file 4 is causing the MAV you could just delete save file 4 and you will be back with an emptly slot in position 4. There isn't a save file for any slot that is still empty.

Hope you can sort it out. :)
