What does Loof say?
As you all know, when you die/start a level with a character there is a sound played like "You know, that kinda hurts." or "Here we go!" Well, sometimes i hear this message: "Mein(?) to(?) cleynish(?) mein(?)" I am not sure but i think this happens when you die or start with Loof. Does anybody know what this means? Or maybe, I just heard it wrong. If that is the case what message could I be mishearing? (I tried to get it to play again but I couldn't)
Which classic wonderland game are we talking about?Alex2000 wrote:I tried to find the game's sound file but I couldn't. Maybe I can play it to the translator?
and there is one more thing that loof says but i have no idea how to write it. If I reach the sounds file I can find that too.
I might be able to find the sound files if you tell me which game.

The weird quote you're talking about is the German phrase "Nein, du kleines Schwein."
I recall Patrick explaining ages ago that it means something along the lines of "Not again, you little stinker." Being German myself, I can confirm that's an acceptable translation. It's basically just Loof getting mad at the player for getting him killed.

You've explained, thank you. Also, if I am right, schwein means pig which means stinkers are pigs, WHAT?!Kilicool64 wrote:The weird quote you're talking about is the German phrase "Nein, du kleines Schwein."

Haha! This is hilarious to me, because the stinkers are using "stinker" as an insult, directed at you.Kilicool64 wrote:"Not again, you little stinker."

Heh. I think that was just a coincidence. IIRC, Patrick made that post in the days before WSW, so Stinky and Loof's species did not yet have an official name.
Also, it was a pretty liberal translation. You can't really convey this line's meaning if you translate it literally. If you did that, you'd get "No, you little pig."
