Byron Stinky???!!!! Surely not, Patrick!!!

Byron Stinky!!! You weren't really going to call him that, were you, Patrick???

I suppose you're all wondering what I'm talking about. I tried PMing Patrick about this, but my PMs aren't working again!!!! Can you look into this please, Patrick???

Last night, while browsing, I did a little Google search for Stinky, Loof and Wonderland. I ended up at abandongames.com. I'm sure many of you know it, it's a site listing old games that are free to download as the authors no longer care for them, not renewed their copyrights, etc.. Anyway, from there, I ended up on a weird games site (I've lost the link, sorry) on which was an article featuring a very old interview with our very own Patrick, yep Mr. Midnight Synergy himself.

He was waxing lyrical about his plans for his newest game; a puzzle/adventure game where the players would guide little characters to solve a series of box-shifting and logic puzzles to save their land... Wonderland.

Although Patrick seemed to be not giving too much detail away, he said the game would be called 'Wonderland' and that the two characters were most likely to be called... wait for it... "intrepid explorer 'Byron Stinky' and his faithful assistant 'Lirpa Loof'".

Is that really their full names then, Patrick? Because, if it is, all I can say is "Thank goodness" you either changed their names or decided to just use the shorter versions.

Byron Stinky I can handle but, Lirpa Loof!!!! Poor little fellow. No way, man!!!!

I was sure I never did an interview with them... but it sounded just plausible enough. Maybe I had meant "Baron Stinky" and they misunderstood?

I fooled quite a lot of people with Looflirpa from the planet Dlanredow last year in my Zoo level, but I have to admit I was taken in until I got to Lirpa Loof.

You must have been up all night thinking this up, Byron Stinky indeed.
