YIPPEEE! The contest is now "officially" underway! (See General Discussion forum for understanding of this comment.) Does the winner have a choice of being a "Lord" or a "Lady"??????????????? (AND -no, no, no - my mushrooms are "maJic"!!!!)

(There IS a reason for this spelling!)

Okay, sorry for the confusion there majic,

Yes the winner has the choice of being a Lord or Lady. :o

I've already started on one possibility......

BTW there is no size limit, time limit, or coin limit. 8)

Hi Freightrain,

Another competition - Wow, Spiffin, Jolly good show Old Man !!

However, before putting the brainbox into gear thought, it best to seek
clarification of the term 'Idjity' in the context of this competition.

Couldn't find it in the Oxford dictionary - Is this an American word :?:

Perhaps you woudn't mind giving some synonyms to assist me before I embark on a level design.
Don't want to be breaking any competition rules etc.

Anyway, I'll await your reply forthwith.

Nice day here on the Costa, so time for a couple of hours in the 'Midday Sun'. (Mad dogs and all that  )

Toodle Pip for now,

Why certainly, I can provide you with a brief portion of our history as well

"Idjit." a report by freightrain.

Idjit is a lost language attributable to a group of peoples from a lost island in the mid Atlantic area. Idjits where happy fun loving people who enjoyed practical jokes and laughter on varied occasions. The people where dispersed following a cataclysmic event when the great kerosene flood of 1843 was followed by the big barbeque of 1844. These events occurred when during a new years eve party; when a tabboolo doubtless wobbly from to much pombari pushed over the island's only source of fuel for heating and cooking. Then some idjit took a torch to see what all the commotion was about ; leading to the big barbeque of '44. The island population was dispersed following the great calamity and eventually found places with varied folks and cultures around the world.
A historical bit of factual history is that freightrain is also the Crown Prince of the Idjits. Thus, he is in fact royally an idiot idjit at times.

End

This should help you understand what it is to be an Idjit

The above exerpt from the history of Idjits was cotributed by my husband, "King of the Idjits". As you can see, idjit is synominous with silly, creative, mind-blowing, fun. Of course, having the king and crown prince in the same household makes for an interesting life,. Freightrain wanted to add that the challenge ends April1 (April Fool's Day) and voting will start 1 week later and end 2 weeks after that (April 8 and 23). Winner will be announced on the 30. He says that way he'll have time to find that big rock that Midnight Synergy mentioned,. He's hoping for a lot of entries and a lot of votes. Just post the entries on this thread. He'll start another thread for the voting. Hope all of you will contribute, I'm going to try my idjity best,.

Hi Freightrain,

Possibly each level filename could start with IDJIT......... :?:

Then all idjit level entries would be grouped together in the custom levels folder as they are downloaded.

Just a thought.

Hi all,
Just a quick note.

Yes, I think he meant for you to post here, but if you would like to you can post them with the header "Idjit" included in the file name. It actually sounds like a good idea, malcdelsol, . Just teasing! It truly does sound like a sensible solution. :)

Sorry I haven't been in much lately,:( hopefully I can get back to Wonderland soon. :)

I wish everyone has posted their entries under one thread (did they? did I miss something?)

I have only downloaded maybe 2, and since new levels are posted daily, now I'm having trouble finding all the posts that has the competition entries, how am I suppose to vote?

Thanks, OB! I was missing a couple that didn't have Idjit in the name.

Looking over all the entries, it's sure going to be difficult to vote in this competition. We have some really great entries -- we also have two different things going on. Some levels are playable challenges, others are mostly visual effects. What to do? I'll really have to give this one some thought.
