New Level (adv) - Trampoline Village

Post by bob roest » Thu Oct 23, 2008 2:35 am

I'll apologize in advance for this one. :D

I went nuts! It's not hard, just really annoying!

I probably should have thrown it on the scrap heap but the truth is I had so much fun making it that I figured, "might as well throw it up there and see who salutes".

It uses my old 'Greyish' texture which really doesn't help matters any. You'll see.

Here are the tramp sequences:

from start: U, U, D, U, D, R, U
from top right corner: D, D, U, D, L
after wood box: Up onto conveyor, D, D
after the chomp: U, L, U, D, U, U

:D :D :D Wow Bob! I just couldn't see the first tramp to get above that sphere.
This was waaaaay confusing with all those breaktiles that looked like tramps
Thanks for the hint, I don't think I would have solved it anytime soon without it.
Carry on! :D :D :D

:D :D Fortunately no economic crisis/inflation problems in this level.

Although I had the first tramp sequence right, I was thankful for the spoiler to check that, because I was not sure of it. And when I reached the finish, the gate was closed, for I was missing the coins in the top right corner. But after all I found out, you made the timing exactly right for that yellow button/timer thing

Only the last tramp sequence I did a bit different the first time.
ULRUU
I really like those tramp levels! Thanks for the fun! :D :D

This was aweful!

I found the tramp-sequences early on.
Now one would think that covering the white button is about it - no sir, it took several more hours to exit, but not with gold, than it took another 2 days to get it with the gold.

I was pulling my hair, dropping a number of boxes in the water like crazy to build some bridges, and always got it wrong, or if nothing else, was hit by the time-limit. Actually, there were another two nice tramp-sequences that misled me to believe that playing with those boxes was the right way.

Just minutes ago, I finally found a move that I missed which made all the difference - and no, it's not about tramping.

Another point, I think that displaying break-tiles as trampolines is unfair (not that I personally had a difficulty sorting them out).

I did (sort of) post a disclaimer about that in the intro. :D
