Adventure 5 - Downtown Blunderland!

Post by JeffH » Wed Sep 28, 2005 9:55 pm

Okay People,

Here's my latest masterpiece, a Tower Level of massive proportions
and it took me a week to design, and I've designed entire GAMES in less time than that! It has to have Model1.3ds in its own zip file because of the size limits, but just drop it in the JEFFH5M folder in the Custom Models directory that's in the Adventure 5.zip.

4 MODELS!!!! "STINKYFISH", "DA BIG ZOOMKABOOM", "Z.O.D. Almighty" and "The H.A.N.D. of Z.O.D." are models I created to match the look and feel of Wonderland.

4 Z-Bot Houses!!!! (Well, factories if you like).

6 seperate challenge towers featuring:
The Frozen Fish Factory! Something smells fishy?
The Nuclear Reactor! Where the Nuclear Sludge meets the drink!
The Cremetorium! Crackerwalk for two
The UFO Hangar! Area 51.2, just slide by them.
The Scourgetorium! Just wait there for service!
The Z-Bot Repair Facility! Meet up with Z.O.D.!

Was so hard to complete when I first designed it that I had to keep designing down until I COULD FINISH IT!!!!!

Hope you like EPICS!

Cheers,

JeffH :D

I have to reply on this, though I haven't finished it yet! :o  Got as far as the Scougeatorium so far.

Your models are absolutely fabulous. Just perfect for the Wonderland theme. You've put loads of work into these, and into this mammoth level.
But the only way I saw most of the models, was by using the Shift and arrow keys.
8) :D 8) :D 8)

To be honest, I think it's too big. The trouble with RTWD is that there is no save feature, or go back 1 step feature. So with a level this size anyone as clumsy as me is bound to get wiped out quite a lot. Then restarting over and over can be a bit off-putting! Poor Stinky and Loof are wearing out their trainers all the time.

I think you could make this level into about 4 separate ones, using your models and houses.

Of course, I will go back and try to finish, but this may take me some time. Thanks for all your hard work Jeff.

Yea, I know, I overdid it
Adventure 6 is lots friendlier, better models too (I hope)
though I do think the Stinkyfish was inspired.
I might break this down into about 5 seperate games later.

Cheers!

Jeff, I agree with Liz. Your models are great and so are the puzzles. I made it through the first section, then lost it. It is too long to have to keep starting over again. If it were split into 4 separate puzzles, it would be much more playable. Keep up the good work! :D
