New Level (adv) - Catapult

Post by majic1 » Sat Nov 15, 2008 3:50 am

This level uses the Mycastle texture and is kinda beeg - but I wanted to make it look something like a castle so needed the space. I don't think it's too difficult at all - the hardest part is probably getting yourself over to the right side. From there on, it's pretty derned easy.

Very nice level, but I think you could be more generous with the clock - it is not fun to hurry like crazy to beat it, make silly errors as a result and have to restart when there is insufficient time to look for the bonus coin.

Woops! Sorry about that - I play with the clock off so didn't notice that. I've uploaded a new version with extra time added on.

I play with the clock off too! I DID it!! :stinkyhappy: I'm so happy! :D

I really love your levels majic. They're difficult enough to make me have to think, but eventually I get them. Loved every restart on this one. Great level! :D

Thanks for the fun! :D :D

:D :D :D I agree, this was a joy to work thru and didn't mind having to restart.
I really liked the cyan button timer puzzle and the rafting was quite pleasant.
Well thought out and beautifully designed, Thanks for the level and fun! :D :D :D

:D :D The catapult is working again! It was not easy doing it without the instructions, however, I guess instructions from almost 1000 years ago would be probably hardly to understand. Thanks for the fun! :D :D :D

What fun...an archaeological mystery hunt.. explosives, mystical orbs, water flotation devices and collapsing floors. I really think it was that can of WD40 in my knapsack that brought the ancient catapult back to life.... even left with a pocket full of gold coins...yippee!!!

If we ever had a "BIG DUH' award I would have dibs on it. I'd have to nominate myself.
I had so many restarts trying to figure out how to block that boulder for the cyan button, finally slapped myself in the head when I figured out what to do with that box and cube.

This was quite an adventure Julie. Naturally I messed up the catapult but I pulled out my trusty toolbox and fixed it next time around. Thought I was going to have to borrowe some WD-40 from Pat, that thing is sure fixed now.

Thanks for all the fun, all the restarts were definitely worth it.
