One thing you forgot to mention, Mark, is that this is an overly simplified version...!

I enjoyed it and hope everyone else will too!

It's all relative - compared with the original version with the cannon and the left-hand puzzle (4 holes, 3 barrels, a prism and a boulder)...

I see what you mean. Yes, it has been toned down a bit.
Thanks again for all your testing, proofing, and bouncing.

Thank you and you're welcome, Liz. :D
You were the first to test and proof my short story.
And being a school teacher, you were the perfect choice. 8)
This particular level is only "easier" than the two I didn't post.

Hi Mark
Here's another school teacher who enjoyed your story very much. Guess you'll get good grades this year...

Wow, and double wow!
I didn't know you were a school teacher, Chip! :?
But then I didn't know Liz was until after she read it.
I know you enjoy reading, though this piece wasn't science-fiction.
If you spot any mistakes with your keen eye,
please let me know, and I will update the manuscript.
By the way, I'm still working on your # 18.
Even with your generous hints, I'm stuck in the zbot area.
All of the boxes are in the water, so I have nothing left for the white button.

Thanks again, Chip! :D

Hey Mark,

What a delightful story you wrote. Thank you for sharing it on this board. In a round about way, I'm a teacher, also. I was an adjunct professor for an online school for about five years. Before that, while raising my three sons, I was a substitute teacher at a local elementary school.

About the level ... may I have some help jumping to the dark blue button?

Thanks Anne, I appreciate you taking the time to read it. :)
Wow, you're a teacher too! That makes three in a row!
I suspect this forum is just a front for a teacher's lounge.

Here are a few clues:

Greed is always a dead end, take the road less traveled to go north.
What goes on the light blue, and from which direction does it come?
Something that is pregnant can help you fly higher than ever before.

Let me know if you need more. :)

Hey Mark!

I'm with Anne here. I just can't work out the jump to that dark blue button.

This is where Peegue is at. It seems promising, but I don't know if I have things in the right place.

More help needed please! 8)

I just can't work out the jump to that dark blue button.
According to your attached diagram, it is too late to make that jump - try at an earlier stage!

Here's what you want to do:
Block the top two ice curves with the items below the three gates. Starting at the bottom, jump U, U, D, D, U, L.

I loved the book. I just saw it today and I really enjoyed reading it. Now I will try your new level, maybe even be able to complete it without help I hope.

Thanks

Hey Mark,

I loved your story and I love this level. And ... I'm going to have to wait for the video to get help with the sequence of jumps.

Thank you Annie and Anne for your kind feedback. :)
I've completed two other stories, but have been reluctant to publish them since there weren't any reviews yet.

About my level, the software I used to capture the videos does not work with my current version of Windows,
so I outlined the steps below to reach the blue button. Let me know if you need any further help.

Enter white gate and jump D, R.
Push goob 1 R and jump L.
Jump U, U, and slide R jumping U on aqua button.
TP D, TP U, jump D onto water and step down on ice.
Jump D, L. Tramp goob right into TP.
Then tramp that same goob down to destroy box.
Jump D, D, U, R and push goob D, and tramp it left and follow.
Starting at the top, jump D, R and push cube (steel box in new version) 1 R.
Jump L, then starting at the top jump D, D, U, R and tramp cube/steel box L
Now slide it up 3 tiles and push it over the ice L beside the white gate.
Jump D, U, D, and tramp goob U, U beside bonus coin.
Now jump U, U, D, D, U and L to blue button.

Thanks, Mark.

Now it's finished. I should have known that what I thought was obvious, wasn't. And what wasn't obvious, should have been given your style in level making. Another great one, as usual.

Fantastic jumping fun!

I was, of course, being too greedy with the bonus coin and that messed it all up for me.

Thanks for another marvellous level Mark. :stinkyhappy:

I only got this one with the jumping hint for the blue button. I was jumping all over the place. Fun level.

Thanks
