New Level (Advanced) - Coin Quest 75

Post by Liz Mayhew » Fri Jul 21, 2006 5:51 pm

Here it is at last -

THE END

I posted the first Coin Quest on 20 October 2005, so almost 9 months to the day, this is the last one. And this level has produced lots of baby Stinkies!

Patrick has kindly let us have the official Stinky model, which Popo has helped me to resize, and I've made a different colour scheme. Anyone else wanting to use the model can download it from the CustomModels forum.

I've used Loof101's Hobbit House model for this level - thanks a bunch Loofie!

Throughout this series Pauline (Popo) has been a huge support, helping me with custom models and providing some of the textures I used. Thanks so much Poops!

And thanks to all of you who played and commented on the levels. It wouldn't have happened if there was no interest.

Well, enough blah - on with the game. :D

What a great ending to a really fantastic series.
All these Coin Quest levels have been a piece of art and they were an excellent adaption of the books/movies. Thanks for all the work you and Popo put in there. The series may be at an end for you, but I still have 3 levels to solve
It's people like you who make Wonderland such a wonderful place :D

Congratulations on a fantabulous series Liz

Its a sad and happy time, Sad that the series is over but happy to have had the opportunity to have played everyone of these levels, :D  :)

I am totally awed by your brilliant level making and imagination and creativity, You are in a class by yourself, 8)

I just want to thank you for your time and hard work, I know how difficult it is to just come up with ideas for levels, But for you to keep a story line going for 75 levels is out of this world remarkable, :D Kudos to you Liz, This forum is very lucky to have such talent as you, My hat is off and I am standing in applause! Bravo! Bravo! Bravo! :D :D :D

The level was typical of your awesome designing skills, With the gang doing their best in team work, Took me a good bit to work it all out, I loved the models and the cast credits at the end, It will be hard to top this masterpiece, But if any one can it is you. Can't wait for your next level. Again thanks for all your fun levels. :D :D :D

I enjoyed each and every one of the CQ levels. You did a fantastic job! I can't imagine the work that you put into making the levels and making them fit with the storyline. Congratulations on a fine series! And congratulation to Popo for her contributions.

Thank you for working so hard to entertain us and providing us with loads of fun. Thanks also for the help in getting through some of the levels!

Thanks everyone for playing these levels. I had so much fun making them, researching the story, getting the graphics, etc ...

Thanks Lillie for the link to the Quiz! :D See you soon.

I'm not thinking of doing another mega series yet. Nothing could be as long as Coin Quest (Lord of the Rings) anyway. I have a few ideas, but they will simmer for a while ... :D

Well, this level's been out for 2 weeks now and I've had a few requests for a solution, so here's a complete walkthrough.

Look the other way if you don't want it

COIN QUEST 75 – WALKTHROUGH

1 Stinky goes down through the blue TP (DON’T COLLECT THE COINS ON THE LEFT YET). One box is automatically sent upwards on the transporter. Push the other one left through the TP and Stinky enters the TP from above and pushes the box into the water. Now you can collect the coins.
2 Loof pushes the wooden box left over the trampoline. Stinky pushes it into the water and stands on the floating box. Now Loof goes down through the yellow TP to collect the coin by the house door and returns through the TP. Now he slides down the ice to enter the TP from the right, and walks around inside the house (clockwise). He will emerge through the TP with another wooden box which he sends over the trampoline.
3 Stinky pushes this box down through the blue TP and up into the water. He can now push the wooden box off the transporter into the water to collect the bonus coin. Now Stinky can use the transporter to collect the coins in the water. He tells Loof to load the luggage and says goodbye to him.
4 Loof now jumps the trampoline and pushes the box from the generator up into the water to Peegue’s area. Make sure to step quickly to the right as soon as you push the box, or Loof will be smashed.
5 Get the next wooden box and push it to the water beside the left-hand conveyor, but don’t push it in yet.
6 Now it’s time to block the green TP so it can be exited to the right to gain access to the right-hand conveyor. Loof goes up to Peegue, stepping on the aqua button. He pushes the lower metal box to the right, and Peegue pushes the top box down. Loof now goes to stand below the box generator.
7 Now Peegue can push the left-hand box down and all the way through the green TP (and 1 space beyond). Peegue can now get the second metal box and push it through the TP to block it. Peegue’s work is done and he can push the wooden box into the water to exit via the left-hand conveyor and transport onto the boat.
8 Loof pushes the wooden box up and through the green TP, and follows it, to exit via the right-hand conveyor and transporter.
9 Now Stinky can ride the transporter up to the top right-hand section. He takes the next transporter up. Time it carefully to avoid getting blown up! Push the metal box 1 space right, and collect the bonus coin off the timer switch. Push the metal box down the ice and wait until the orc (kaboom) starts walking round the edge (clockwise). Grab the coin, and stand below the box. Wait till the orc has gone into the switch area, and push the box up to block him in.
10 Stinky rides the transporters back down and enters the section above the shadow figure.
11 Qookie is now free, and goes through the red TP, pushes the sticky cube down and left onto the blue button, and pushes one of the metal boxes down to the opening beside the transporter.
12 The shadow figure is now free. Stinky pushes the metal box right into the water and walks around until the shadow has collected all the coins. I can’t give a precise set of moves for this, but it’s not too difficult to get all coins collected.
13 Qookie and Stinky can now exit. Make sure you read the cast list at the end!
14 Hope you enjoyed playing as much as I enjoyed making this series!

What an awesome amazing end to An awesome amazing series!!!!. You are so incredible with the storylines, and models, and textures! Many, many thanks to those who helped you with this.

It took some time to know who had to do what when, and where. Loved working this out!

Nice, that was fun, but I had to remove the model using the editor because I no longer have a compatible version of RTW to use it.
