New Level (adv) - Lift Off!

Post by Liz Mayhew » Mon Aug 25, 2008 8:30 am

LIZKIDS125 - Lift Off!

At last the crew set off in the Space Explorer.

I've made a new texture (Spaceship2) which you will need to download.
Also a new background called liftoff.

Hope you enjoy the start of a long journey. :D :D

IF YOU WANT TO SEE THE BACKGROUND, I'VE NOW CORRECTED THE PROBLEM, SO PLEASE DOWNLOAD THE LEVEL AGAIN, OR SIMPLY OPEN THE LEVEL IN THE EDITOR AND CHANGE THE BACKGROUND SETTING TO CUSTOM.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Boy I messed this up right from the start  Can't get the new background to work

Then I tried to do this without reading the signs WELL let me tell you! Ya can't hehehehe

Great mechanics and loads of fun to get the gang all lifted off! I'm dying to see the background work, I'll have to figure out what I messed up.

Thanks Lizzie!

Well Robyn - it's very strange, but no backgrounds work on my computer at the moment, not even the "fire" background by Midnight Synergy. So I sent the file to my husband's computer and it showed up fine there, so I assumed it was a problem with my computer not the background.

Sorry to anyone else who can't see the background, but it's not essential to the gameplay.

At the moment I'm going to back up all my Custom stuff onto a memory stick and then re-install RTW to see if that fixes the problem.

Got a bit worried at the beginning but liftoff was a go....All the astronauts did their jobs and are now on their way into space. I really like your texture and the background was neat...sent you a pm about the background.

Thanks for another spectacular kiddie level.

Loved the background and texture Liz. I actually had to restart several times, mostly because of dumb moves, but a couple times Qookie's part kept sending her into Stinky or Loof's area and she couldn't return. Not sure what that was about, but they have lift-off, so all is well! thanks for the fun yet again.

Monica has solved the problem of the background!

I didn't set the background in the editor to "Custom". Silly me!!!

I have reposted the level at the top of the page, with this corrected. It shows up fine!

That's certainly saved me loads of work Monica. Thank you so much! :D :D

I love love love that background! So glad ya figured it out for Lizzie Mon :D

I think everyone should use that background all the time. It's not annoying at all like the rest of the regular backgrounds. I love it! It blends right in and looks soooo cool!

Well when she said she had trouble with it showing up I decided to check and see if she had it set to custom because it didn't show up for me either and I really wanted to see it with the texture. I've done that myself when I was working with textures and houses. I sent one to Robyn to check out cause it was frustrating me and all it was is that I forgot to change things to custom.
I had to replay the level but that was OK cause I liked it.

What fun!!! :P Actually, it took me a few days of coming back to this one because I kept going through the blue TP the wrong way. But when I finally did it right, everything worked perfectly. :P Great texture too!

Thanks for the fun! :D :D
