Here are two samples. Please let me know if they are TOO easy or TOO hard for the little ones.....since I'm the only kid around here, I'm not sure

These look appropriate to me, but then it's been quite a while since my children were this small!. I'll be adding some children's levels also - thought we could just add any new children's levels to this post. I should have time this weekend to work on a few - I don't think they should take too long to create - sounds like lots of fun, too!

Good idea. Unless we mark our levels as children's levels.

I thought these were very good levels, too. They have a little logic with the bridge building and no real threat from enemies. I don't have any that young to test levels on either,

will have to try to tap my inner child!

Hi!
I remember my little ones, and the youngsters I taught as a substitute teacher, liked very simple mazes. Since I like them too, I thought I'd post this one here.

It was made with young children and early readers in mind. An adult may have to help the very young ones read the signs. Hope you like it!

Thanks all!!! I knew that I could count on you.

Little jg (Jordan age 6) is very impressed. He is staying with me for a few days as his mom is out of town, so he was able to "review" the levels as soon as they came in.

eeyore1: all three were great. He especially enjoyed March for Kids. I really liked the way you simplified the original version. Hello, and YoungStinky were easier but they still had a few things he had to puzzle out.

SharonM: Visit to the zoo. Great level. You are right on, he loves mazes, and really enjoyed reading the signs.

So what I could see is....the elements he enjoyed most were lots of coins and bonus coins, lots of buttons and switches, he really likes to move boxes around, reading the signs, sliding around on ice is "too cool" and not too many meanies.

I can see how Wonderland encourages problem solving and thinking skills. I enjoy watching that

go off when he "gets it".

I've been gone from here for a couple of days and what a surprise I found!!

I have tested all of the games so far. I enjoyed each one myself and definitely my almost 5 year old granddaughter will be owning my computer soon

She has been playing on the Playground of the regular Wonderfland since she was three. She couldn't get all of them at that time on her own, but the two she could, she loved to play.

She loved RTW because it gave her new worlds to explore with the new playground. But more than that she started wandering into the regular levels and has finished more than a few with very little help from me. Her almost seven year old brother will also enjoy them. He is a puzzle whiz because those are my favorite games and he can surpass me on many of the different programs I have.

I will give you a definitive word when she has actually played. She is with me 4 days a week so we should be able to stay on top with the reviews.

All five are excellent. DG, yours has a different spin on it than any she has played with the positioning of the teleports. I expect she will play that one over and over again. Sharon the zoo is absolutely darling. I know she will be excited. My favorite UFOs

Eeoyre, I haven't played the adult March one yet. Can't wait. What an entrance though in this one. While there are a few tricky areas, I am betting she will figure most of them out on her own. The kid in you did good

Kids will vary to abilities and age of each one. Balls are just fine, timed entrances if they are kept easy are fine in addition to the other two kinds. Nicole loved Andrews two levels especially all of the coins in the one. She knows how to move the blocks but still forgets and hits a wall once in awhile. I just thought of something, I can add a few for her in the editor so that she can finally win that one. The back and forth escalator in the other one is also great fun for her. Both kids like the various back and forth escalators and ice. They like everything!!!! Creatures are best kept to very easy. As you introduce them, we will give feedback ASAP

I hope she'll have as much fun with them as we're having making them.

Hi SharonM - Hope Freightrain isn't toooooo anxious about levels being submittted in his contest - I believe they are not coming fast and furious because we KNOW we have until 4/1 to submit. Time to make it REALLY crazy (April Fools' Day - How appropriate!) Why do I have this funny feeling that eeyore31, who we all know makes NICE levels, may surprise us and WIN this competition?????????????????

I figured that everyone would take their time on this one. I liked the April Fool's end date too.

I thought it was very clever. Or is he trying to tell us something..........................hmmmmmmmmmmmm.

No really, he asked me what I thought of that as the end date and I told him it was a great idea. He'll let us know how the voting is supposed to go then. I know he wanted to give everyone plenty of time to play the levels and vote,

, hence the amount of time he's allowing. I too will enter, though I know mine aren't that crazy. It will be fun though.

All games so far have also been tested by Dillon and Nicole. Dillon played first and the games were fun and relatively easy for his near 7 years. He's a whiz at a similar puzzle game and that is his favorite.

Nicole tackled them with the gust of someone who plays RTW 4 times a week at my house

They bought Wonderland at their house but not RTW yet. I've mentioned it but not pushed it because I like having something different here for her.

New games that she can play was met with squeals and delight constantly. She showed Dillon how both Stinky and Loof can ride the train at the same time and he liked that when he replayed it. I also added DG's 40 boulders to the kid file because I saw that as easy enough for them. At one point Nicole wondered where the boulders were coming from and discovered it when she did a scan

I didn't know where myself until then

She only really needed help on that one at first and on Portal Potty. She didn't understand the different directions that the portals required to get all of the coins. She catches on fast. Otherwise she played all of them like a pro

She loves all of them and wanted RTW first thing again today so that she could play them all again.

Her favorite spot is the train and the ice patch in that game where both are riding and skating at the same time. She also loves going to the zoo. Calls the bombs, caterpillars

They do rather look like fuzzy caterpillars now that she mentioned it

She approaches March different in several ways than I would but they still work for her. She's very independent on the games and wanted no help unless she asked for it

Both love the walk through walls (I did have to point that out) and the pushing and rolling that all of us enjoy to get to our destination.

I'll post again in a couple weeks to let you know the replayability. Kids love some repitition of their favorite things and put their own twists in them each time to make them different. It will be fun to watch her do that

Thanks again to all that made them. They are each unique and varied and like us, that adds to the fun
