Size of custom content

I'm a bit late downloading the new levels for this month, been on vacation..........anyways....The game has been crashing a lot because some of the textures and house for some levels are the wrong size for my graphic card apparently. It can be a bit frustrating to say the least. The game freezes and I have to hit esc. then hit another button, then just close down the game, find the folder and resize everything in it. This has happened quite a bit lately and so sometimes I just don't even bother I go on to play something else.

I believe things should be 64x64, 128x128, 256x256. There is a tutorial on Mette's website if anyone needs help. I too have had to have my own textures and houses resized on the few levels I made and someone was gracious enough to help me in that area. But I guess being square is better. Sorry if I'm offending anyone but I just had to add my 2 cents worth. The levels are more enjoyable if they can be played.

Yes that old chestnut again. I keep trying to tell people to make things the right size, but I think unless you have the problem yourself you don't realise how frustrating it is.

Most of my old models have the wrong size jpgs as my old computer didn't have the problem and I didn't understand the need for the proper sizes, so I can't complain too much can I?

I can only suggest that when you download any new custom stuff you check the sizes as you're saving them rather than taking the chance that they are the right sizes and maybe crashing your pc. That's what I do anyway.

Seems since I got the new graphics card I've run into this problem more often. I am going to check the folders from now on though. Even I read the tutorials and still didn't size my houses and textures right when I made my own levels, but now I keep it wrote down. I enjoy playing everyones levels and the textures are all terrific.
