I'm having an installation problem where pretty much everything in my RTW folder is a .dat file and the folders with files don't exist. Do you know how to fix this?
nothing to see here yet

If you've played my "Box Tricks Density" level, you'll know that the three boxes (wooden, steel and plasma) have different density values. Plasma is more dense than Steel, which is denser than Wooden.
Why does this matter? If the boxes slide on ice into another on ground, the density values decide whether it pushes the still box away, or bounces back along the ice.
Here are the rules: A box that is still can only be moved by a box of equal or greater density sliding into it. So if a steel box is still, it can be pushed by a sliding steel or plasma box, but not wooden. Now that this mod is out, I set out to find the densities of the three new boxes (superprism, powercube, inversebox), only to discover something strange...
All three of the modded boxes do not act in the same way as normal boxes and so cannot be given a density value. Also, they behave in exactly the same way as each other. Let's take a closer look...
If it is sliding on ice towards another box, it will bounce back UNLESS the stationary box is either a wooden box, or the same type as the sliding modded box. If that is so, the stationary box will be moved. So a sliding PowerCube can only push wooden boxes and other PowerCubes - it will bounce off everything else.
If it is stationary, it cannot be moved except by a sliding box of the same type. For example, a stationary InverseBox can only be moved by other sliding InverseBoxes.
This doesn't make sense. So, if possible, could you program each box to have a density value that makes sense, while there are no levels that yet take advantage of the density of the modded boxes?
If that's too difficult, you could still add a note in the documentation explaining how the densities work so people don't have to work it out themselves.
Thanks! :D

Large Bump

Can anyone help me with installing this? After I patch RTW, the game doesn't open, and instead of folders, I have .dat files. I've been wanting to use this mod, but I can't get it to work. :(

Edit: Wow, I almost never post in one of the RTW subforums. How surprising.
