Hero's Quest help please :)

I've gotten all the way through to activating the red button, but can't tell exactly what it did. There is a forest of mushrooms, and a message to follow the way of the mushrooms or something like that. They seem to be pointing in an arrow shape, yet I find no secret passages or anything.

I'm assuming there is some secret passage into the two little houses at the bottom middle, and that's where I'll complete the level... but I can find no way in. Can someone help please?

I can help you with this one.......

SPOILER WARNING.................................................

The red button opens the red gates near the exit, without it, you can't exit.

The hint about the arrows......see the arrow shaped mushroom patch??????????? Well, once you go through the red transporter----that is the way to go----the other two ways are sure death.

As far as the houses are concerned, they were added for fluff only. You can't get to them (No I didn't do it!!!!!!)

I'm confused.

What exactly is the mushroom pointing to? I've looked all over and can't find anything.

I've got all the coins and keys and just don't want to miss anything.

Nothing, it's a clue telling you which way to go somewhere else on the level.

I can't find the way to the star.NO matter which way I go on the conveyor I end up dead! ONe takes me to the last coin and then out the blue transporter. But the other two go nowhere but killing me.
