Now I'm Trapped in the Vortex....HELLLLLPPPPPP!!

OK this is in Secret Worlds....in the Void...Trapped in the Vortex

I can get to section 2 and get everything set up and I can get the rainbow sprite to go in there but he (or she) keeps getting shot by the cannon before he (or she) can even collect the 4th key....much less can I move it in to the next room!

How do I keep her (him) from being cannon fodder?
