lookout tower

Post by stormy » Fri Dec 30, 2005 1:00 am

I know there must be a simple solution but I can't get the boxes to go into the water after putting them in the bottom transporter. They all go to the left instead of into the water. Is there another way to get them into the bottom transporter? I need help since something happened to my computer and I have to start this game all over again. I was up to level 94 I think. I'm so upset, somebody help PLEASE!

Stormy, I just went back to re-play this level, I had to use a total of three boxes to get 1 into the water by the top teleporter, I then reused 1 of the boxes to collect the final keys & bonus coins. I hope this helps.
:D
As far as losing your game & having to start all over again, I'm afraid I can't help you there, ask one of the more "techy" members, Mette, Popo, Bearsland, Gen, just to name a few. Good luck.

thanks for the help, :D I finally finished it. I can't understand though why it worked this time when I played it the same way as all the other times. The main thing is I finished it again!

Stormy, could you explain in more detail what has happened. Did the game crash? Are levels that you have completed now showing that you haven't completed them? I don't understand what the problem is. :?

Hi Gen, I have no idea what happened to my game. I went to play it one day hoping to finish some more levels and to my surprise everything was gone. Everything! It was like someone had deleted my name and all my levels. Since I'm the only one who uses this computer I couldn't understand what happened. I just hope it's not a defect in the game and that when I reach the higher levels again! (and I will) that I will be able to continue and finish. It's just so frustrating having that happen and not know the reason/cause. :!:

Hi Stormy,

If it was "just" your player file that was somehow deleted, then maybe you're able to get it back. Go to your WSW directory and look in the folder "players". All the player names should be there e.g. in my players folder the files are: mette.pla nad bjarne.pla. If you're really lucky there will be a .bak file in there as well. If you rename that to e.g. stormy.pla you will have restored your old player file including which levels was completed.

I hope this helps and good luck :D

I lost my RTWD player file a while back but alas I was unlucky. No .bak file for me

Good luck with the rest of the game

Yep! I had to start all over  I don't care about the regular levels I know I have comleted them all with all bonus coins, but I'll never know which custom levels I've played.

Oh well....I'll just never catch up - I had given up on that already anyway

that's a shame mette about the game. can anyone play the custom levels or is it another game you have to buy? I would like to try them when I finish this one. I guess I should play RTWL first though. Hmmm, so many good games to play. Will keep me busy for some time.

You need Return to Wonderland (preferebly Deluxe with Platinum update) to play Custom Levels. You can then play the custom levels that comes along with the game and you can download and play the 5000+ custom levels already on this forum. You'll never need another game after that
