Where I went camping, there was no civilization. There were no bathrooms and no running water. We had to cook our meals over a camp fire and use soapy stuff to wash our hands. We didn't get nice cabins like you people. We had to sleep in gross icky tents. We had to live like that for FIVE DAYS!

I'm back!

If you ask if it was fun, if you think setting up camp at night,
having the always-barking dog sneak along in the car,
having it Extremely hot on the second day, and only one water bottle brought along on to the Laura Ingalls Wilder birthplace on the second day,
having all the smoke from fires particularly like your face,
going to the bathroom in a stinky, icky, outhouse,
washing your hands with Diaper Wipes and Hand Sanitizer,
almost getting Kidnapped on the Second night,
having it be SUPER cold on the third day, and it getting Flaming hot as soon as we got on our Warmest clothes,
and getting soaked with water by turning on a faucet that I had no Idea shot water forwards fun, it was.

It's true. I heard footsteps about 3:00 in the morning. I wasn't too worried, after all, what would I expect at a campsite with, like, 30 people camping in that place, and it might be my imagination.
