Light in the Pyramid

I was so close to finishing the right side when my lamp ran out of light. I assume I need to go back to replenish (argh), but I want to make sure this is my only choice. I'm not even sure I can get back without all necessary items. Can someone help me with this? Did I totally screw up by not getting my lamp filled in the first place? Am I now being punished?

I belive you can ring the shards to get back to Wondertown I think indigo will get you closest. There you can replenish your lamp, or you can upgrade to a Glowem which doesn't ever need replenishing later.

You are the best. Thanks a million. I'll try this (though I don't have a clue about how to upgrade) and will let you know.

not really upgrade. Just when you talk to the mechant, ask him what he's got for sale and then buy the glowgem that he talks about. Runs around 50 -60 coins, don't remember. Although, if you're already to the pyramid, you could probably just go with a refil on your lamp. Depends on how long you think it will take you to finish and if you want to tool around other places and go exploring.

By the end of the game, you shold have plenty of coins, so I'd spend them on the glowgem and never have to worry about it again.

Pretty much. I had to try two different shards, can't remember which one worked. The first one took me back too far, and for some reason, I couldn't cross a river. It took me way back to the intro. The second one took me back to the icy part, where I could find my way back.

Anyway, thanks. I thought I was stuck forever!
