PC too fast?

Post by jonmcg » Fri Sep 26, 2008 9:24 am

I am having problems on levels that rely on timing. When I compare the video solutions to the game on my PC the thief (or spikeyball) are much farther along their path on my PC compared to the videos. Does anyone have any clues about this or experienced similar problems?

Actually, Jon, one thought I had:

Try running the game at other resolutions (much higher or lower, and fullscreen). If truly there is a speed difference on one particular PC (which I just haven't encountered before) then this might make a difference?

Hallo Jon,

i think i have made simular experiences although i have not really a gaming pc. It is a quad qore Q6600 2,4 Ghz with a NVIDIA GeForce 8600GT 256MB.
In the MOFI volcano systems i was glad that i did not must get the three coins below the spikey area (upper lefthand side) to be able to go on in the game. I also had problems with the coloured rainbow transport opening and closing too quickly. Finally i left the coins whrere they were
not willing to spend hours / days might possibly getting the coins.

Maybe Midnight Syn can propose a PC speed check programm and give some kind of speed value for thath the game should be playable for
normal / experienced player.

Maybe Midnight Syn could also think in furhter games or an update about different playing mods (i.e. easy / normal / hard) as i think the game was also made for younger gamers / kids?

Regards Alex
