I think I'll have to blink only once or maybe 2 times to get it to the second blink power.

WOO HOO! i think i got it! well, i know i did - but i'm not entirely sure how!

scritter to yellow button, through to fireflowers. as far as i can tell, this is just timing and luck, but get through to blink charger letting the fireflowers destroy themselves on the way. don't use any blinks to get back through!

blink to visible barrel then to island. use spy-eye to locate buttons and go for them green, blue, recharger, star island, red, back to star island then for star!
