Brr at the Shore - MOFI

Where do I go next?
If I go into a teleporter the scritter takes the other teleporter and I can't go to the main island. I need that scritter for that button at the end of the spikes.
What is that turning button in the water doing?
I can't reach it. Or can I?
If I can do a thing, what then?
