WA1: Yellow Shard - can I return?

Probably the wrong place to post this, but I have a save file from just before I get the yellow shard. After I collect it, can I return to Wondertown using the indigo shard? If I do, can I return to the Void? Thanks.

No worries, this is the right place.

When you're in the void, it's actually impossible to use the shards - try it yourself, it won't work. After you escape the void, you'll have access to all of the previous areas (Wondertown, etc.) but you won't be able to return to the void. Don't worry, there won't be much to miss.

Is the Void a large area? Roughly how many adventures are in it? (5, 10, 15, 20...?)
