Mav issue.

Post by popo » Wed Mar 11, 2009 11:44 am

I don't download many custom adventures, but every time I do I get a MAV when I first open the player after downloading it. I download it to the adventures inbox, then start the player, select play game and as the list of adventures pops up I get a MAV. When I restart the game and select play again the list comes up as normal and I can play. It happens when I just download adventures or when I download content as well. I have the latest version so does anyone else have this happen or is it just me?

Fast reply, but I have a different version of your problem.

When I start the Player, It works fine, until I abort adventure or complete adventure I get a MAV. :?

I'm having this problem too, on my main version of the editor (for anyone wondering, I have seperate folders for the editor so I can work on WA:CP without trouble) :?

Oh god it happens all the time to me, and I do have the latest version (v0.96). Sometimes I even have to restart it like 3 or 4 times before the game stops MAVing!

I do find that it helps a little bit if you archive or delete the old adventures you're done with, to shorten the list of "not archived" adventures (the default view). But it didn't sound like you have a lot of adventures on your computer anyway, so maybe it only helps on mine.
