Item with custom command?

Post by Pawelec » Mon Sep 09, 2013 6:46 pm

I wonder if we can make an item with custom command. If the name and text of the item is coded in the WOP, then I suppose the CMD and data values are coded there as well, but please correct me if I'm wrong.

It's been a while since I've done any serious work with .WOP files or the editor's functions in general, but this is a good point.

I'm gonna experiment with this a bit. I don't have much hopes in the way of getting anything out of it, to be honest, but it's worth looking into.

Are you talking about the adjustments (i.e. the "Data" adjustment).
Also, for the CMD, are you talking about its action (i.e. what it does when you collect it)?

If so, then that is defined within the object's logic or data value.
For the Data adjustment (e.g. "Data", "Data0", "Data1", "Data2", etc.), you can add it with the adjustments.
If you bothered to copy and paste this signature, or zoom in, to make it possible to read, then I wasted 5-10 seconds of your life.

CMD as in the action that happens when it's used, I assume.

The ones that can be applied in the Editor are pretty much CMD 1/2/3.

EDIT: I went and did some poking around... Came up empty-handed, sorry.

If anyone else wants to take a stab, go for it. I can't find anything.

Oh that, I'm sure it's possible to add the "Command" adjustment, but it may not work.
As for "Data" adjustments, I'm pretty sure they are determined by the logic.
