Man I really need to get going but the following is occuring
- studying for exams
- addiction of wii stuff
- using my runescape memberhip before it's gone
- Making a level a day for WA: TMT
Process may go faster in July, assuming if it doesn't get really hot and when I have to leave the laptop to decrease the temperature in the house. That probably won't happen now that I have a laptop and can do my stuff outside.
I'm still working on Level 2 of 5 for Demo 1. I also need to work on a big shop for different weapons, an enemy index, and make this "elemna's house" where you can manage equipment bought in shop. Some other features...
- different gropples, green is 1, yellow is 10, orange is 50, red is 100.
- a picture of what a level accessable by d-pad under it looks like
- more green apples and treasures that can be reached later in the game than in the original ET series, that means more requirements than the apple swim sealant and triple jump thing.

ET3 also has a Toast blasting gun and a Super Gropple button. That makes four 'requirements'.Technos72 wrote:- more green apples and treasures that can be reached later in the game than in the original ET series, that means more requirements than the apple swim sealant and triple jump thing.
i should change my signature to be rude to people who hate pictures of valves

Man this project is going on for about a half year and still no Demo 1. I should get to work while getting ready for back to school stuff.
Right now I'm at Level 3. There still many things to program I think. This includes the shop, inventory, game status, and SMG style comet levels.
And if you think you're not able to see elemna's real face because she's not in ET5, you're mistaken...

Ok so I have a fairly high rate of boredom which makes me really fickle on my projects meaning I'd like to continue a project but didn't feel like it later then working on another project. This project is falling behind and I should get to work since Demo 1 was never released.
I'll tell you this other new feature while I'm at it. There will be a special enemy index where you don't record enemies in there when you defeat them, Instead you must obtain Enemy Cards that rarely get dropped by enemies when defeated. This will be refered to the Enemy Card Book. When getting one card of an enemy it will appear in the book showing just the picture and name. Second time getting the same enemy card, it will add the health and threat level. Upon getting a thrid copy will show some bold information on the enemy to complete it. Then no more same cards of that enemy will show up. Cards can rarely show up for bosses too, but there is a higher chance of getting boss cards then enemy card chance.

BUMP
which I'll mostly do
I thought up of new ideas for the recreation of the game after trying out Donkey Kong Country Returns which consisted of features recreated from the game. I also made up new ones. New ideas include
- Jigsaw pieces that unlock drawings within a level that I drew, scanned, and uploaded following the content of the game.
- Special teleporters that take you to bonus areas where you can collect and win special objects
- Some levels are made up of sillouettes from sunsets and fog etc. just like in DKCR
- You can gain XP and "level up" to recieve increases of health capacity, and splapple upgrades.
- You can buy special items and power-ups using gropples instead of the splapple upgrades.
Lets hope I can fit all that in.
