I never said I am going to straight-out cancel ET5. It'll still be in progress, but probably either with longer gaps of time between each demo or slower progress. And maybe, ET5's development might be
faster. The only reason it's been 3 months since Demo 2 was released is because I've been getting too distracted and lazy to work on games.
I did say that it might go on a hiatus forever, but that's very unlikely.

The main problem I have with Evil Toaster's story is that I'm constantly having to fix plotholes I created from laziness and I have to hang lampshades due to unusually botched character development.
What I want to do is start a new game so I can start with a clean story and fresh characters.
Or maybe I'm just being paranoid and everyone here doesn't care about disorganized plots as much as I think.

I'm not just going to cancel a game that I've dangled in front of this forum for months. The plot for ET5 still interests me, but actually making cutscenes for the plot is my least favorite thing to do. In fact, I probably spend more time making cutscenes in this game than anything else. I've spent all day trying to tackle Chapter 3's cutscenes.
...Which is saying something. Due to my lack of cutscene-making skills, I've considered making another chapter of ET5 before I try to take on the task of starting my new game.

I actually still don't know what I'm going to do for Evil Toaster 5's ending.
