I haven't worked on the game at all lately...just saying, the only playable charecters for demo 1 are gonna be me and Lexie(I PMed her a while ago). I'll get working on some of your sprites now, though. :wink:

Ok, I got SS01's and Sammy_Bro's sprites made. SS01, sorry that it only shows one frame, GM felt like being a noob and I can only save 1 frame on that one only. :x

@Technos(post#1);Ok, got it.

@Technos(post#2):I'd say a little over 50%. Over 50% of the charecter work is done(there is only 2 charecterrs for demo 1 anyway), 1/3 levels are done and one of them is at about 50%. :wink:

Since I haven't worked on it in about forever besides those sprites, don't think it's gonna take another few months. As long as I don't get bored, it should be out soon. 8)

I'm working on Lexie's charecter. She wanted to be extra hard...hey, Lexie, if you are reading this(I don't think you've been on the forums lately), do you still wanna be a "hard mode" charecter? Right now I don't see anyone finishing level one as you. :P :lol: :twisted:

Whenever I start working on this, I end up forgeting to work on it the next day...right now it dosen't look like it's comming soon. I'll work on it today, though...if I'm lucky I'll get through evreything in the demo today, if not you're gonna have to remind me to work on it tomoro. :lol:

Ok, Lexie is done. She said that she wanted to have the OOF powers harder to unlock, but I'm not shure if she wanted to be bad at fighting in general. I checked, and I couldn't find her saying that. So right now she has normal powered moves, but she will need to defeat more enemies to use the OOF's powers after she "unlocks" them.

And correct, i dont want low powered moves in general, just normal fighting moves, and for each OOF power to be used by me i must defeat 50 enemies for the first, every time i am going after a power/to unlock a power it is 50 X more then the last time.
for say this example
First OOF power : 50
Seccond OOF Power : 100
Third OOF Power : 150
Fourth OOF Power : 200 (Lexie unlocks half her full potential here)
When lexie unlocks ALL 7 (If i remember there is 7) of the OOFs then she unlocks full potential,
it makes her 5 X faster then ussual, her attacks get 3 X more effective then ussual, and she unlocks a Special attack called Twister.
The setup for twister:
If Player object : Lexie, Has 7 OOFs is "true" activate twister move.
AKA
If lexie has all 7 OOFs she can use the Twister move.
(if theres special attacks)
Lexie when she doesnt have all 7, when pressing special attack key for lexie it makes a buzzer sound. and a message appears saying "you cant use this yet" if she does though, for the first time a "sorta" like a correct awnser buzzer is heard. and Lexie dashes twirling around, this goes on untill she turns into a swirling blur of her colours, all enemies on screen (that are in the range of Lexie) get sucked into this twister and damaged by 35%.

Sorry for DP but i forgot, when i said 50 X more each time, your basicly just defeating 50 more enemies each time, but when you reach the 7th, Lexie must defeat 1,000 enemies,
notice my edit in the quote, i meant 500% for a 1 hit kill as its probably the HARDEST THING TO UNLOCK in the ENTIRE GAME. Allow it, pleeassee, its at least worth the while of the player. It does 85% on bosses with over 300 HP. and 35% on bosses with over 90 HP. and 150% on bosses with over 400 HP

For the bonus speed, that's fine. That would only take a few minutes and I could copy the code to any other hard more charecters. Same for bonus power.

However, the bonus move, if I had to create one for evrey hard mode charecter, is probaly a no. However, I'm thinking that durring the final battle...well, I won't spoil it, but I'm thinking of the OOF doing something to help all at once.

I could have it that hard mode charecters, such as yourself, get to use that power as long as all the orbs are found and at least 50% of the powers are unlocked, or something? Evreybody else would need to wait until they beat the final boss to use them in levels, and you could have it when you find the gold OOF if you did it right.

I made it so that you need to have beaten 50% of all the enemies in the level to unlock the goal. It tells you how many are left, don't worry.

Yeah. QP.

I finished the 2 charecters, and 2/3 of the levels. I made the mistake of using the same shade for all of the lava/magma, becausse now I can't recolor it well. I need to go make a new one... :P

Quintuple post. I think I broke my record...

I made a new sprite for acid, and it looks good. I also made the sprite for the first boss, and that looks good too. If we are lucky, I might me able to get demo 1 out today. Don't set your hopes too high, but I'll try. :D
