Old Topics

It has been said that the topics from the old forum are going to be moved into this one, but no one seems to know when. Can MS or the mods shed some light on this?

Only ms can. Mods are only mods in this offtopic, not anywhere else.

^_^, true, but if the mods talk about it with Patrick, it would probably help more then if you do. Is that what you mean Ben?
But then you should make a list of which topics you want to be moved. I got the idea you don't like Wefight,

and the Wonderland screenshots may also belong in the General subforum if you ask me. So it's only Toon Town?
I think this is something for a (sort of) poll. Here's a suggestion:
Poll question:
Should old topics be moved to the new off-topic's?
1. Yes! I'd rather have the old topics back, then having new ones.
2. I don't care if they be moved, or new ones be made.

Yes Marinus that is what I mean about the mods.
My opinion isn't in your poll. I think we should make new topics for the threads in the old forum to cut down on spam and keep it more of a "fresh start" as it's intended to be. (except for wefight maybe, you sorta need the old topics)

You're right. My poll-suggestion is not quite correct, as a poll almost never is in my opinion. The maker of a poll has some sort of "power" to manipulate people by formulating the poll options this way or that way, and also by how many options he/she makes.
For example, I also could've made 3 options: Yes, No, and Don't care, which would have given the yes-option more power, because either No or Don't care probably will have the same result. I think if people don't care about it, Patrick wouldn't bother about moving them. So making 3 options makes actually 1 Yes option, and 2 No options, which makes the Yes option more powerful.
Personally I don't care about moving topics, so I think it's fine if people make a new Toon Town (and other) topic.

Not quite sure what "few" means.
Anyhow, I'm pretty sure that if the moderators have no problems with making new topics instead of the old ones, that neither will have Patrick. As long as it's all peace here, Patrick is happy.
So, B,Q, and X, what do you think about it? Just in case you say it's ok to make new topics, I've two suggestions:
- Perhaps it's an idea that the posters of the original topic also make the new one. (instead of unlocking EEE's topics

)
- It may be a good idea to post the link to the original topic in the first post of the new one, so it's easier to read what happened before.
In case you decide that the old topics should be moved: Instead of "a few days", is 24 hours an option?

That was where I originally made it in, but it was moved to off-topic for some reason.

Not quite sure why Patrick didn't want to have it in the General Wonderland Forum.
Anyhow, 24 hours have passed, no one seem to care about moving old topics, have fun.

Well, until the old topics start to get moved, I'm not locking duplicate topics.
I think Q and Blast are with me too.
