True
and yet he is awesome and it's always fun to talk with him.
Thanks!

If you search on internet, there are lots of things written about autism. However, I think it's not possible to give an exact definition. You can make a list op autistic properties, then probably 99% of all people in the world have at least 1% of those properties, but they are not called autistic. Perhaps if people have 50% or 70% of those autistic properties, then they might call those people autistic. But it's not possible to point out an exact border between autistic people and non-autistic people. It's just a grey hazy area.
I believe, if everyone who use to post on this forum, would do a psychological test or an autism test, then probably lots of them would appear to have many autistic properties, while they're not aware of it yet.
Since there's so much written about autism, I'm not even trying to give a description. But I can try to tell about some properties of myself:
- I've (almost) no intuition about what people feel, but on the other hand I've a better sense about logical things
- I'm not very good at verbal communication, even less at non-verbal communication, but to express myself by letter, is more my "thing".
- I alway have a problem with unexpected things, can't improvise when there's short time, but when I've time enough to prepare for something which has to be done, I can pretty well.
- I can't filter visible or audible information. If there are 5 people talking in the same room, I hear lots of noise, but I understand (almost) nothing. When I am reading a website or a forum, then all those advertisements, and flashing pictures are disturbing me. When I'm driving my car in the dark, then I only need the lights of of my car and to see the edges of the road. If there are lights everywhere: lights of houses, garden lights, very bright lights of other cars, billboards etc. it's disturbing me. All I need is a black road, and white lines at the left and right sides, where I have to stay between.
I know I can think of many more examples, perhaps later, but for now I think it's enough.

I agree. People do not use always the right terms or words. In Dutch we have a word which can be translated at many ways:
http://www.mijnwoordenboek.nl/vertalen. ... =NL+%3E+EN
but also: deviation, offset, variation, or saying with my own words: "being different then..."
So, perhaps I have a deviation from the rest of the world. Which means that the rest of the world has a deviation from me.
