Rubik's Cube Puzzles, and other related ones

Post by Technos72 » Sun Aug 14, 2011 1:17 pm

I'm one of those people who can solve the rubik's cube, I can do it in about a minute and a half, insane isn't it?

I have seven rubiks puzzles. Obviously I have the original rubik's cube.

The 4x4x4 rubiks revenge, which I solved too
Image
The 5x5x5 rubik's professor cube, not solved yet
Image
The 2x2x2 cube

Rubik's World
Image
Rubik's Magic. Is paper with plastic panels and strings to make it fold magically
Image
And rubik's 360, didn't solve yet. Somehow the red ball is missing

I have a sticker-less rubiks cube, I was planning to make it a picture cube of the six main characters of MLP Friendship is Magic and call it the Brony's Cube, or something like that. I could print it but I'll need some kind of poster board so that it doesn't curve when stuck on the cube as a sticker. I wouldn't use sticker paper because I tried printing on it and realised the ink was washable, I may get the poster board this weekend, assuming if I can't find any in the house.

Hi Technos72, thanks for sharing your puzzle links:

Unlike many of the genii forum members here such as Technos72,
I am not great at solving these complex
figures, but I do like to catalog and view them.
Here are some additional webfinds that I found:::

I've seen the megaminx, v-cube 6, and siamese 2x2 cubes at my favorite store juring my travels in Toronto this summer. The two megaminx puzzles on the right of the megaminx row are known as the Gigaminx (5-layer) and Teraminx (7-layer) The teraminx has curved edges for better grip. Same thing goes to v-cube 7.

And today I finally solve my rubiks professor cube :D
