Game Project - Einstein of Marbles (how fascinating)

Post by Technos72 » Sun Aug 28, 2011 12:22 am

the bracketed message means I keep thinking up with new game maker games. MY MIND IS UNCONTROLLABLE. Like how Kooky's "evil" mind is making an ET6.

In this game you have to move marbles in unique ways to position them so that they make special scientific formulas that marbles can make. Then use the formulas for fame to get stars and access other levels. This game uses the same gimmick than the rubik's slide where you have to twist and slide the device to move blocks in correct orders. This game will use its puzzles and also have more complex puzzles where you see three or more colours while the rubiks slide only has two. Also there will be 4x4 grids and beyond.

Here are some features I'm planning to put in. I may leave out some if process goes slow, which is going to...

- 200 levels in 8 themes
- the feature where you can get three stars in each level, like in Angry Birds, islash, and cut the rope.
- Probably a level editor
- Achievements in the full game

You can use the fame to pay for new machines and make more advanced formulas. The machines in order are

1. wood, you start with this
2. building block
3. stone
4. glass
5. iron
6. gold
7. astral (space-relaten)
8. royal

Earlier I was thinking Demo 1 having the wood and building block themes. But I was also thinking about how I'm going to do the three-star feature. I'll have to code every star collectable in the game which would be 3 x 200. What does that equal? 600.

So I'll release Demo 1 with all 25 levels in the wooden theme
