Ok, not sure where to put this, but because this topic is a prime example of what I'm talking about, so:

I think MyNameIsKooky could do literally anything and it would instantly become the coolest thing that anyone could ever possibly ever do ever on this forum ever.

Like he made a game about an apple who kills toasters, and theres loads of fan games and stuff about it (I'm not saying its not a good game, it is, but why on earth would you use apples and toasters instead of something original.)

Anyway, I'm not trying to hate on MyNameIsKooky or flame or anything, but I'm just saying this is kinda silly.

It's a popularity thing, I really can't help it. I like to make games and I like to see people enjoy my games, so I post them here. I worked to achieve the image I have right now. I mean, heck, look at some really popular YouTube users like Rubberfruit. A simple "green screen test" that Rubberfruit made turned into a fad. It's a similar scenario here.

Once again, popularity. People like the concept of Evil Toaster, so they make fangames.

However, instead of being dead, you're implying that apples fighting toasters is unoriginal. But it's still better than being dead.

Yeah, I know its just popularity, and I honestly wasn't trying to criticize, I was just observing.

Also I wasn't trying to say that yours wasn't original, but that they weren't doing something original by coping you. (Which actually is ok, people make fan games of Mario and stuff all the time)...

Yeah I know Evil Toaster is supposed to be silly (It's called Evil Toaster) and as I said I think its a good game.

I was kinda upset yesterday about something completely different too, so this was kind of connected to that, again I was just trying to observe, so sorry if I came off rudely.[/b]

At least we aren't copying him the whole way. Deep Moon/Deep Stars(FT8/9) and the fight on a bridge above a volcano with a lever in the middle(MWM's Fried Bananas) are original and that's from fangames only. *hit by the roadsquash truck who backs up after hiting me to make sure I'm dead*

Ok, well, I didn't really understand that, but if you were trying to say that fangames can be original, yeah I agree with that, like look at this:

Yeah. I was saying the ET fangames do have original stuff in them, they aren't completely copying the real ET games.
