A new project for my return

I really liked the idea of Deja Vu and its humor in many parts, but having seeing it discontinued, I was thinking of creating my own fangame to bring in new gameplay. Super Deja Vu includes uses the same gameplay plus additional things like:

- Backdrops
- Cool menu
- All new instances
- playable characters
- Music

mmm..

This no-reply thing is getting real old. At least type a simple comment please!

Anyway I'm at the 12 level of world 1 and will probably get back to work from SKB: LL This is what I need done for Version 0.3. The original set is going to include three worlds and will go straight to versions beyond 1 with new content. Like how Angry Birds does it

Curiosity, who will these other characters be?

I think they will be characters from popular games and memes. They can be unlocked by doing tricks, achieving something, or completing a world.

Can Rainbow Dash be one of them? :3

Done 24 levels of 25. I'll post another screenshot while I'm at it. These are two new elements. I'm using most of the previous ones too.

From now on, I'll be posting download links to games and updates on the first post, as well as progress to the next one. Check the top for what I'm doing and have done so far

DP

I made a nice intro for entering a world and a menu with help of Cool Text. Now I just need to work on the playable characters for Demo 1 if I know for sure that every other thing has been done. What do you guys say about 4 playable characters for Demo 1?

Please don't use the "Show Message" option. Draw them on the level like the real game.

Then I'll have to pause all objects that move at the start. There are a few right now which makes it easier. I also have to retype the messages. I'll try to add that for Demo 2

Quite clearly, you decompiled Deja Vu as well...

Quite clearly, you don't listen to your own demands.
But yes.
Now PLEASE stop talking about it! I've stopped, and never mentoined it again. I've followed all of my promises.

Except I can't let such a thing pass when you're publicly leaking my coding methods and not even giving me any credit.

I finished the demo! It was good, but it needs to be harder next demo. Also, there should be more "think outside the box" puzzles like having to go beneath the level and such. The boss was really good though!

Great, now I can't post again for another 8 days I think due to a certain secret not-so-epic reason.

ADD VARIABLE JUMPING RIGHT NOW!!!

the lack of variable jumping is making me actually get annoyed by the nyan cat

Also, if you didn't do this already, after the first boss one of the nyan cats should reveal some information about the mastermind and join your team. This seems more serious than the original to me so it deserves a plot to replace the humor.

It's in the Noob Hunter topic.
